BIO:




BORN:


Born and raised in Butte County, California.  Moved to Luzerne County, Pennsylvania in 1995 and have lived in Wilkes Barre City or Hanover Township.  Bought a house in Hanover in 2006, and is paying a mortgage and those dreaded property taxes.



EDUCATION:


Graduate of Biggs Jr/Sr High School, class of 1989.  Attended Butte Community College and California State University Chico.



EMPLOYMENT:


My first job was at McDonald's.  Worked for Blue Shield of California and LifeTouch Studios doing data entry, Tri-Valley Growers as a lid tender, and numerous temp jobs doing data entry and manual labor.  After moving to Pennsylvania, I worked at Mercy Health Care Center as a Nurse's Aid, Blue Cross of NEPA in multiple roles, and am now at TMG Health in Scranton in the IT Department.



HOBBIES:


Traveling:  I have been fortunate to travel as part of my jobs, and have gone to Phoenix, AZ, Little Rock, AR,  Orlando and Marco Island, FL as part of my training. I have been to 18 states and experienced little towns up to major metropolises like Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York City.

Family History:  I have been working on researching my family history and family stories for 20 years, and have ancestors who arrived in the American Colonies as early as the 1610's



POLITICS:


My previous experience was being elected Minority Inspector of Elections in Wilkes Barre City in 2005.
